What Do Parents Need to Know About the Section 33 Changes?

The NDIS has recently introduced significant changes to how funding is released in participant plans. Many families are still unsure what these changes mean or how they’ll affect access to therapy.

In this free webinar, experienced occupational therapist Sarah Collison will clearly explain the recent updates to Section 33 of the NDIS Act, including the introduction of funding periods. You’ll learn what’s changing, how to prepare, and what steps you can take to make sure your child continues to receive the support they need.

You’ll also hear from Dave Jereb (MoveAbout Therapy Services) and Practice Manager Veronica Bittendorfer, who will share how the MoveAbout team is supporting families through this transition. Veronica will introduce a practical tool we’ve created to help families plan their therapy budget and communicate clearly with therapists and plan managers.

We’ll wrap up with a live Q&A, so you can ask your questions and feel confident moving forward.

This session is designed for MoveAbout families but is also open to any parents or carers navigating the NDIS for their child.
