Dave Jereb is the owner and senior occupational therapist at MoveAbout Therapy Services. He is a dedicated paediatric OT, and a passionate advocate for those who support children facing behavioural, learning, and engagement challenges. Committed to ending burnout in early career OTs, Dave embodies the principle of 'supporting the people who support the kids' through his effective work as a mentor, coach, and presenter.
Dave's expertise has led to the creation of a series of highly regarded workshops and webinars, including 'A Dynamic Approach to Regulation and Behaviour', 'Connecting with Kids with ASD', and the 'STEPPSI tool for effective clinical reasoning' co-taught with Tracy Stackhouse. Each is designed to equip health professionals with the knowledge and strategies necessary to excel in their roles and deliver exceptional care.
Dave's commitment to continuous learning extends beyond his own education; he also brings international leaders in the field to Australia. He is excited to host Julia Wilbarger, who will be teaching her Sensory Defensiveness course on August 5th and 6th, 2023, in Sydney. Additionally, Kim Barthel will be teaching Trauma-Sensitive Practice on November 24th and 25th, also in Sydney.
